Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world.

He is the main character of this fantastic yet young series. Since he was
little has been able to see spirits of dead people. Through this strange power he meets someone named Kuchiki Rukia who is a high
ranked soul hunter is called a Shinigami, or Death God. Upon meeting this Elite Death God Ichigo somehow takes her powers and
becomes a temporary Death God himself. |

She is the Death God who Ichigo meets in the middle of the night. After her
powers are taken from her she receives a Faux body which really can't do any special techniques it just lets her live. She is the
one who tells Ichigo how to use his newly taken Death God powers and tells him where to go to fight Hollows. During the
beginning of the series she integrates into Ichigo's entire life including, school, friends, sports, and family
things. |
Sado Yasutora (Chad) |

It is debated whether his name is Chad, Chado, or Sado, but whatever it is this
is one of the strongest, physically, out of the little crew. He is a large dark skinned man who doesn't fit in with the rest of
his Japanese population. He is like Inoue in the fact he doesn't seem to be much apart of the series but he develops his powers
and becomes even stronger when he uses them. |

He is the last living Uuryu who hates Death Gods. He originally is introduced
as a bad-esque guy who ends up being one of Ichigo's friends who helps him in their excursions. He uses a strange weapon that is
almost like a bow of spirit power only it comes out of his wrist from a necklace he wears around it. He doesn't like to talk a
lot unless he is telling Ichigo off or fighting with him. |
Inoue Orihime |

Inoue is Ichigo's main admirer. She has always like Ichigo but he has always
been a bit too dense to notice this. Through the beginning you are lead to think she is just another character but she turns out
to have her own powers that are fed by her dead brother through a hairclip he gave her. If she had to be categorized she would be
the medical end of it all. |
Kon |

Kon is a Modified Soul that was created by the Death God's to fight off
Hollows. After being turned into a, literally, pill Kon makes his way into the hands of Rukia who uses his pill to turn Ichigo
into a Shinigami on command. After Kon causes trouble using Ichigo's body he is put into a stuffed teddy bear and stays that way
unless Ichigo needs to become a Shinigami. |

As for how it works, it's not very hard, the main thing would be to try to be active.
You don't have to visit every day, but checking in now and then and making a comment would be great.
